Empties December 2018

Hey babes, welcome back to the blog! Today i have an empties post-December 2018 edition.

Now to be clear I did not empty all this in the last month, some are empty for a while, but I was holding onto some of these items because I did want to make an empty youtube video which I made twice and never publish it because I was either overlit or out of focus. Live and learn .. live and learn
So here I am doing it on the blog, and because this will be a long ass post  without further ado  lets get into it:

Makeup empties

Diorskin Star - shade sable
My holy grail foundation, I have already purchased a new one, and that sums it all.  This foundation is a true match color for me. I love it

Estee Lauder Double Wear -shade C2C Sandbar
Another one of my staples! The sade is the closest I can get to my skin tone, not perfect but I could make it work.  The only thing I hate with this foundation is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump. The pump is on is a mac pump, now  Estee Lauder has a pump also, sold separately but still pretty annoying to pay five bucks extra for something that it should be there, to begin with.  But overall is a great foundation, so  I have already repurchased.

Kiehl's BB Cream - Actively Correcting and Beautifying with SPF 50 PA+++

While my skin is not very problematic is dry and sensitive and hates most of the sunscreens.  I was confessing that to the sales assistant at Kiehls counter, and I received few samples of this bb cream.
It was love at first try.  I use it either on its own or as a base for makeup.
I will buy another probably the untinted version, but at this moment I have a few more sunscreens to finish.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis À Lèvres Glossy in 05 Rouge Vintage

I can't even get over myself I emptied a lipstick. It took me a longgg time, but I did it. This was my go-to lipstick; I always carried this lippie with me,  is such a pretty color, gorgeous pigmentation not drying formula and leaves a beautiful stain to the lips. Contemplating on repurchasing it but I have like 120 lipsticks  (jk I don't know the exact number of lipsticks I have )

Becca Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector - Papaya
Not empty but I don't use this anymore, while I'm a raccoon girl and this helps with correcting the dark hues of my skin, it makes my concealer crease so bad that I look  100 years old. So nope is a no from me

CHANEL -Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base
This was an impulsive buy mostly because I didn't own anything Chanel. The formula and the application is smooth. Is so weird because while I don't have complains over it did not woow me either. Hence I'm saying goodbye to it because is over one year old and I haven't used it.
I can safely say now I'm not a big fan of cream bronzers  and I'm not going to repurchase

Bodycare  empties

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser
bought this for my face, and I hated it! But it ended up in the shower and is now my holy grail body wash.
I am currently on my third bottle if this, because of the improvement it had made to my skin. I use it 2-3 times a week, is very foamy, so a bottle lasts for a long while. Not terribly expensive. I'm thrilled I discovered this product

Rituals - The Ritual of DAO Bed and Body Mist
Not much to say about it other than the fact that this is for me the most calming scent. I have gone through a countless number of bottles of this juice, I own the whole line, and I hope it never gets discontinued.I'm addicted to this.

Rituals-  The Ritual of Ayurveda Shower Oil
This oil is luxurious and decadent, not only this oil but the whole line, Gorgeous smelling it softens and nourishes the driest skin and has a luxurious scent, and it has an instant feel-good effect. It feels like I'm at the spa. I have repurchased this, not planning to quit it anytime soon

Rituals-Hammam Body Mud
Bought this because liked the idea behind it, is like a mask for the body and because I wanted to try something else from rituals. Makes the skin smooth and does the job but won't rebuy it as it's not giving me the woow factor, plus walking around the house naked with my body covered in mud is not exactly fun.

Garnier- Loving Blends - Argan and Camellia Oil Under the Shower Body Milk
I love under the shower body lotions, they are super easy to use and makes life easier when I'm in a hurry!  I wanted to like this one so much but the flip cap is not tight and doesn't close well hence and not only that is not travel-friendly, but a couple of times it leaked in the shower. The body milk itself is very creamy, and the smell is beautiful, but it leaves a greasy residue on my skin, and the level of hydration did not woow me either. So it safe to say I won't be repurchasing this one

Skincare Empties

Heimish All clean balm
I love love love cleanser! I'm a balm cleanser kind of a gal, and this one was love at first use. It has a beautiful sherbert texture that melts on contact with body heat, feels silky on the skin, removes makeup and sunscreen like a dream, and it does not strip the skin.  The only downside is how fast I go through one jar of this, but then again I do wear a full face of makeup almost every day. I have a stash of it in my bathroom, so that says it all.

Moa -  Móa The Green Balm

Lovely multi-tasker balm but I did not use it the much as I wanted and the only was I finished this one it was a no buy challenge. Is good but not woow,  there is better in that price range

Paulas Choice- Resist Hydrating Cleanser
I love  Paulas Choice skincare and this cleanser I purchased because I wanted to try a different cleanser from the brand. I usually buy the Skin Recovery one. I use it as a 2nd cleanse it removes any last traces of makeup and dirt off my face, and it does not dry out my skin. I will not repurchase it as I ahvent seen a noticeable difference in my skin between Resist Hydrating and Skin Recovery and the second one you get more.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser
Living in a small town certainly makes you relay on the internet when buying skincare (and not only ) I purchased this because I was out of cleanser and i haven't ordered a new one, and this is available at the local pharmacy.  I use it as a 2nd cleanse because as a first cleanse it did not remove makeup, dirt, impurities right away.
Is a safe product to use as it won’t dry my skin but there is no woow factor to it. Simply and safe. IF I get no other option, I will most probably repurchase

Nip + Fab Exfoliate Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme
I purchased this on because of an Instagram review. I love my acids, but it was the first time for me I used presoaked pads. It went fine for a  little while then it irritates me beyond belief. passed the onto my husband, he did not experience  irritation  which  leads me into thinking  that my face can't stand glycolic  and I must live with it . not repurchasing

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence
I believe it was Stephanie Nicole that made me buy this and I shall forever be in her debt for it. This also was one of my first K-Beauty purchases. This Starting Treatment Essence made such a tremendous difference in my skin. I'm currently on my 3rd bottle of it and im not planning to give it up anytime soon

Paula's Choice Resist Omega+ Complex Serum
I can't stop using it. I’m on my third bottle so far, and I can see it becoming a staple in my routine!
Very light smell, thin but rich this serum absorbs fast into the skin and has fantastic ingredients like ceramides, glycerin, linseed oil, chia seed oil, and some other great hydrating ingredients. The smell of it though is not for faint hearted it smells like the product is gone bad, but if it works it works, I can put up with smelly stuff no problem.
Packaging is thick and luxurious and it comes with a pump which is a plus  the only complain is but I wish it came in a bigger size because I go pretty fast for a bottle of this juice

Kiehl's Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask

I was super excited about this mask, and to this day i regret buying it that sums all. This mask did absolutely nothing and always left a sticky residue to my face that i ended up hating it and never grab for it . as a result I'm throwing away half full jar.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm

I have mixed feelings , part of me loves how makeup days looked when I was using  this moisturizer, but it also clogged my pores. So I ended up  wearing it only on days that I needed my makeup to look flawless, and I use it on my hands a lot so that I can empty the  tube . not repurchasing

Darphin  Predermine

Darphin- Hydraskin
Is light and lovely but nothing to write home about, my under eye needs a bit more hydration than this. At the moment I apply it on top of eye serum. I think it suits better a younger skin and because its cream-gel texture is perfect for summer days

Estée Lauder- Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix Synchronized Recovery
